I’ve been studying a lot about onboarding products lately and one concept really caught my attention:
Onboarding Success Milestones
These Milestones should engage a client through the 3 values.
- Value Perception – It’s the first movement. When the client realizes they need a given product
- Value Experience – It’s when the client is starting to experience the first benefits of using that product
- Value Adoption – It’s when is so automatic to come back to the product and keep receiving the benefit, that it is already adopted widely
Shortening the gap between Perception and Experience makes the adoption easier. And the Success Milestones are part of it.
How many clients did the steps that make them experience the value your product provides ? Do you know what are those steps?
If I would to think of it on GLPI as product for companies, I’d say when the first 10 assets are automatically inventoried, and the first 3 business rules starts categorizing and automating manual tickets coming from 3 customized forms, the client starts experiencing a big part of the value GLPI is able to provide.
